Begins January 23, 2011 and culminates with a group walk to the Sanctuario de Chimayo in New Mexico on April 23, 2011.
Participate in a personal 3 month experience of Pilgrimage practice. Guided by master teacher Caryn Boyd Diel, you will be given reading assignments and personal practices to follow for 90 days. Join the largest annual movement of Pilgrims in North America as they approach the Santuario de Chimayo at Easter. Preparation and personal practice begins January 23, 2011 and culminates with a group walk to the Sanctuario de Chimayo in New Mexico on April 23, 2011.

Students will be asked to contemplate the deeper reasons and meaning for their participation in Pilgrimage beginning at the Winter Solstice in December 2010. Within the next 30 days the purpose will be written down and sent to Caryn for review and comment. At that time the reading and personal assignments will be given to each student. There will be a group reading list with written assignments and group email discussion.
It is understood that Pilgrims will be coming from many distant locations, so this course is designed as a distant learning module. On April 21 the group will gather in the evening in Santa Fe, New Mexico and meet their fellow pilgrims. Preparations to walk will begin on the 22nd and this day of rest will allow those to acclimate to the elevation of Chimayo. On the morning of April 23 the group will be transported to a starting point along the pilgrims trail to Chimayo. Support will be provided along the way, as each person will have decided how far their walk will be. The minimum suggested walk is 5 miles. That evening the group will reconvene to have dinner. The next day we will meet once more to process, share and say goodbye.
Cost for the Pilgrimage is $1,000. This includes the course handouts, personal guidance, class presentation in Santa Fe, and arrangements for the trip to Chimayo. Each person will be responsible for their own travel to and lodging in Santa Fe. Total tuition is due on January 21 payable to Caryn Diel at White Cloud Institute in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Chi Nei Tsang is a wholistic approach to massage therapy within a Traditional Chinese Medicine paradigm. In this level 2 course you will learn how to relieve internal patterns of tension and the resulting misalignments of the posture and flow of chi through the body. This is an exciting new course in the CNT series which explores the muscles and tendons. Learn an ancient healing technique which originated in the Golden Triangle of Burma, Thailand and Laos; Tok Sen. Fall Semester begins September 14, 2011. The 12 week class meets on Wednesday evenings from 6-8:30pm.
Tuition is $500.
Option #2 is to enroll in the 3 day course October 14-16, 2011. Tuition $375.
Students will learn to purify and cultivate a pure river of chi for their own healing and develop a deeper understanding of the harmonization of energies within the body and the universe. Studies will include the classics; I Ching, Tao te Ching and Qigong and Meditation Practices for self healing and purification.
This 3 year program is dedicated specifically to teaching the spiritual aspects of Taoist healing, philosophy and meditation practices which contribute to the harmonious evolution of earth and all beings.
Course of Study: Classes will meet in Santa Fe every Wednesday from 5:30-8:30pm. In addition, students will attend monthly weekend courses taught by visiting Taoist Masters. Students are required to attend all classes, complete written assignments, and participate in classroom discussion of assigned reading. Written and practical exams will be given each semester. Homework and practice time outside of class will be necessary.

Well Breast Massage is a technique that promotes circulation
and drainage of lymph in breast tissues, thereby ridding the body of the accumulation
of toxins which cause painful cysts and eventually disease. This class is taught
from the context of a 15-year
longitudinal study that is collecting information on a wide range of women
of all ages, both locally and nationally, to observe the effects of selfempowered
breast health care. Our question is this: How
does Well Breast Massage affect breast health, contribute to the prevention
of disease, and aid in healing after disease and surgery?
Although generally
taught as a self-help technique, many women would rather receive regular Well
Breast Massages from a licensed massage therapist than perform the massage
themselves. In our work, we find support for a hypothesis that women who are
willing to take classes and practice/receive Well Breast Massage have an attitude
which is open to enhancing their knowledge of breast health and prevention
tactics. After this training, you will be in a position to perform Well Breast
Massage

Traditional Tai Chi
In this workshop, we will learn beginning and foundational postures of Cheng Man-Ching Form, also known as Yang Short Form, traditional tai chi principles and self-defense applications. The Tai Chi moves are slow and can provide a meaningful workout for the entire body. When one takes on Tai Chi Chuan as a practice, the classics say one can "gain the pliability of a child, the health of a lumberjack and peace of mind of a sage".
"Women Warriors"
"Women Warriors" are women of courage, inner strength, compassion and encompass the spirit of great knowing. Women warriors will learn the principles of tai chi for self-defense through the use of non-action for self-protection. It is countering the hard with the soft, and the soft with the hard, as well as balancing yin (feminine) and yang (masculine) energies.
Self-defense moves are expressed with ancient tai chi energies such as ward-off, roll-back, press and push; the classic postures of "Grasp the Sparrows Tail" sequence. Workshop topics include accessing your chi (internal energy), maintaining your root, being single-weighted, keeping the spirit (shen) light, investment in loss and fair lady's hand. The Traditional Science of different cultures developed
Sacred Geometry as a mean of reflecting on Earth the harmonies that human beings

The "Art of the Zahoris", also known as Druid Geomancy, is an

The Tiger is the symbol of vital energy and Zheng Qi (Righteous
Qi) in traditional Chinese culture. It is the spiritual animal of the Western
Direction and is related to the Queen Mother of the West (Xi Wang Mu). (To
this day, some people hang the image of the Tiger in their homes to protect
the family.) From a classical Chinese medicine perspective, one will never
get sick if one can maintain Zheng Qi in the body. Physically, Zheng Qi is
represented most strongly by the lung, which prevents evil Qi from invading
the body. Evil Qi includes all factors (i.e. emotions, food, weather, trauma,
etc) that may cause illness. This relationship between Zheng Qi and the Tiger
explains why the spiritual animal associated with the lung is the Tiger.
The Tiger form is based on the symbolic power. The essence of
Chinese Shamanism, it has both medical and martial arts implications. The Tiger
form movements imitate the actions of the tiger and increase the harmonizing
Qi of the whole body by strengthening the lung Qi , which governs
and energizes all meridians of the body. Through regular practice, the Tiger
form will tonify one's Zheng Qi, thereby releasing and protecting the body
from evil Qi.
The entire workshop will be conducted in the tradition of special
shamanic Qigong in which a lineage-based Qi field is created
and held to give participants an enhanced experience of Qigong .

Breast Health is total body health. Learn how to prevent illness
and heal from existing symptoms. Well Breast Massage is a self help technique
which promotes circulation and drainage of lymph in breast tissues, thereby
ridding the body of the accumulation of toxins which cause painful cysts and
eventually disease. With the increase in all types of breast disease, we desire
to offer this program of education and self care to all women in the hopes
that they feel empowered to care for themselves and experience a reduction
in unnecessary medical procedures.
In this class you will learn how to prevent breast disease and heal yourself
of any existing symptoms. Instructor Caryn Boyd Diel will lead you through
a series of self-help exercises taken from the tradition of Medical Qigong,
and teach you Well Breast Massage.
You will learn
Acupressure; self-massage, to enhance the flow of chi to the breast tissue
and remove stagnation.
Qigong movements and Sound to purge the tissues and break up the energetic
patterns of disease.
A complete breast massage routine that can be the one that makes a real difference
in your life.

The laying on of Sacred Stones and Crystals is an ancient art. This powerful
and beautiful healing art is being offered as a one day introduction to the
healing properties of stones and crystals.
The beauty of Crystals and Sacred Stones affects healing and overall balance
by imprinting delicate frequencies into the human energy field.
In this one day class you will be instructed in how to use a pendulum to evaluate
the health and energy flow in each of the chakras, and to then place crystals
and stones to bring clarity and healing.
Some crystals and stones will be available to purchase in class, but please
bring what you have to use. There will also be pendulums and some books available.

classes will introduce Cheng Man-ch'ing's 37 posture Yang Tai
Chi form. Beginners will learn the choreography of the postures
and transitions within the context of the Five Principles. The
intermediate level students will work on deeper integration of
principles and form. These classes cultivate 3 forms of training;
flow, posturing, and meditation.

Women Warriors are women of courage, compassion, inner strength and encompass the spirit of great knowing on this planet. You are invited to learn the principles of tai chi for self-defense, through the use of “non-action”, for self-protection. Tai Chi is a slow, meditative martial art used for health and relaxation, also translated as the “Supreme Ultimate” art of self defense.
Class topics will include ways to access internal energy or chi, balancing yin and yang, maintaining root and central equilibrium in your body, philosophy of the Chinese classics and exercises to learn how stay soft and relaxed while able to protect yourself. Concepts such as countering the hard with the soft, neutralizing incoming force, and “4 ounces deflects a thousand pounds”; seemingly ironic, yet intensely powerful, will be taught.
Self-defense moves are expressed through the ancient tai chi energies, such as ward-off, roll-back, press, push; the classic postures of Grasp the Sparrows Tail sequence of the Yang form. Instruction will be taught through solo and partner push hands. Women of all ages and levels are invited to participate and no prior experience with tai chi is necessary.

Tai Chi Chuan is a slow moving, meditative exercise for health, relaxation and self-defense. Originally from China, Tai Chi is practiced in this country primarily for its health benefits. It is a physical manifestation of the Taoist philosophy, embracing the principles of yin/yang by accessing meridians of energy, to assist the body with balance, harmony and inner peace. It can provide unity of mind, body and spirit, while adding inner and outer strength.
In this class, you will learn the postures of Yang Short Form (Cheng-Man Ching 37 posture form), chi exercises, form correction, tai chi principles and philosophy from the Chinese Classics as well as self-defense applications. When taken as a daily practice, one can “gain the pliability of a child, the health of a lumberjack and a peace of mind of a sage”. This class is open to beginner through advanced students of tai chi chuan.
