Why Well Breast Massage is Beneficial to your Health

• Well Breast Massage increases the circulation of fluids, like blood and lymph. Since breast tissue does not have muscles to move them, massage is a gentle and effective way to stimulate fluid circulation. Congestion and restriction of movement of breasts from tight clothing is a cause of pain and symptomatic tissue changes.

• Well Breast Massage eases the discomfort of scar tissue caused from surgery. Lymph flow is compromised around scar tissues.

• Well Breast Massage supports healthy touch and encourages women to send the message of health and wellness into their bodies as they are performing regular massage. As a result womens' attitudes and feelings about their breasts take on a more comfortable status, and Well Breast Massage becomes a normal activity

• The overall tone and fascial structure of breast tissue is supported and strengthened with Well Breast Massage. Breast tissue becomes more alive and vibrant with increased circulation from massage.

• Women feel empowered with having a technique which is free and effective in eliminating symptoms which are benign. They take responsibility for their health by being informed and educated about their bodies

• Well Breast Massage is for women of all ages and life experiences. As women age their bodies change and the breast tissues change also. Therefore it is important to know what normal change is, and how to address symptoms that are outside of normal.

• Well Breast Massage can become the turning point in a healing regimen as it increases the speed and comfort of healing. The pain and discomfort experienced from various health conditions is eased significantly with healthy touch and movement of tissues.

Well Breast Massage Longitudinal Study

To participate in this study, or to receive more information and a DVD, contact White Cloud Institute at (505) 471-9330.

Breast Health is total body health. Learn how to prevent illness and heal from existing symptoms. Well Breast Massage is a self help technique which promotes circulation and drainage of lymph in breast tissues, thereby ridding the body of the accumulation of toxins which cause painful cysts and eventually disease. With the increase in all types of breast disease, we desire to offer this program of education and self care to all women in the hopes that they feel empowered to care for themselves and experience a reduction in unnecessary medical procedures.

In our work with students and clients, we continue to find support for a hypothesis that women who are willing to take classes and practice Well Breast Massage have an attitude which is open to furthering their knowledge of breast health and prevention tactics. We would like to further our exploration of this hypothesis through a 15 year longitudinal study of women, of various ages and health statuses, who practice Well Breast Massage.

This study is unique in that we will collect information on a wide range of women of all ages, both locally and nationally, to observe the effects of self-empowered breast health care. Our question is this: How does Well Breast Massage affect breast health, contribute to the prevention of disease, and the success of healing after disease and surgery?

Instructor Caryn Boyd Diel will teach you how to do a Well Breast Massage and explain how to become part of this cutting edge longitudinal study.

Invitation to Participate in Longitudinal Study
We would like to extend an invitation to you to participate in our ongoing Well Breast Massage longitudinal study. This study will follow participant’s experiences and track the outcome of regular Well Breast Massage practice, over a 15 year period. During this time, we are personally inviting all women of all ages and health historys to participate.

You will receive a survey, instructional DVD, and written instructions after you contact us.  There will be periodic follow-ups with our research assistant, and a yearly survey will be mailed or emailed to you to track your progress and any health changes.

Once your survey is received, your information will be placed in our secure database where we will track each participant’s experiences. If you have any questions regarding the survey, please, do not hesitate to call our office. Each participant’s information will be held in strict confidence. Rest assured that your personal information will not be shared or used to identify any of the results collected during the study.

When beginning the Well Breast Massage practice, refer to either the written instructions or watch the instructional DVD. Call if you have any questions, or come to one of our local information nights. We are asking for a $15 donation from each participant.

Follow-up with study participants will take place approximately every three months during the first year of the study. You will be contacted by our research assistant, either by email or phone. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to relay your experiences with the practice, both positive and negative. We are collecting all feedback participants have to offer.

We greatly appreciate your time and consideration to participate in our study. Again, if any questions arise, please contact our office. We are here to assist you. We look forward to nurturing our partnership in further understanding breast health and related issues.

Osteoporosis and Bone Breathing Research Study

For thousands of years the Chinese have used various forms of Qigong exercise to realize better health.  Now we are specifically looking at the effects of “Bone Breathing” Qigong to prevent and reverse Osteoporosis.

We are asking participants to practice “Bone Breathing” as it is led by Qigong Instructor, Caryn Boyd Diel, daily for 6 months and report back on their progress with exact DXA scan results.  Participants are encouraged to receive a baseline DXA scan.  These scores will be included in the overall study and each participant will remain anonymous.

To enter this study please complete the following information and purchase your copy of the “Bone Breathing” CD for $15 from White Cloud Institute.  For further instruction or information contact research director, Caryn Boyd Diel at email:  whitecloudnm@aol.com.  505 471-9330
