Printable Energy Medicine Certification Program brochure

Description of Program:
White Cloud Institute’s Energy Medicine Certification Program is a two-year course of study. Coursework includes ancient healing methods and current scientific research. The program brings students closer to fulfilling their longing for contact with the spiritual world and to integrating that awareness into daily life. Healing becomes incidental to a greater understanding of life on this planet.

Students experience their own core healing abilities in order to reintroduce natural soul-level healing to their families and communities. Find more joy and vitality by evolving beyond a third-dimensional reality into a consciousness-based reality. This program teaches lifelong practices which enhance both health and connectedness to the universe.

Personal growth, essential to the development of healing, is an integral part of the program. Students experience the support and comraderie of the group as well as guidance in expressing their professional development. The program allows for surprises, deep introspection through journey work and meditation, and the discovery of our individual evolution and the contribution we each bring to the world. Along the way we learn to appreciate who we are and how we can bring more compassion into our lives.

The program schedule is paced to allow each student’s healership to evolve with practice and time to integrate new information. The foundational course, Energy Medicine I, is taught as a five-day intensive for those travelling from out of town. Skills workshops are all offered over two days to accomodate residents and visitors alike.

Class Descriptions:
All courses have been approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork for continuing education credits. Continuing education credit available for Nurses.
- Energy Medicine I
- Energy Medicine II
- Skills Workshops
- Projects and Case Studies
- Advanced Supervision for E.M Graduates

Energy Medicine I
Three-day intensive
This course will give you a firm foundation for understanding the Human Energy Field and strengthen your understanding of how our energetic bodies move through time and space to assist us in our relationships, our health and our spiritual evolution. This information may be applied to any healing modality and is essential in developing a healing plan.

A combination of lecture, guided hands-on experience and research, you will learn: how to read an aura, about quantum physics and healing, long distance healing and prayer, the intricacies of the human energy field and its’ relationship to health and disease, how to work with chakras and know what you are feeling, healthy boundaries, how culture and beliefs affect healing, and what is Healing? We will discuss the emerging Archetypes of healing. An invaluable course for developing a deeper understanding of your own energy and how to respond to clients. You will also learn how to receive clearer guidance and increase your high sense perception.

*Energy Medicine I courses are open to everyone. However, the two-year program must be taken in sequence.

Energy Medicine II
Students are expected to have mastered level I skills and be ready to move into more advanced techniques of healing and meditation. This course will discuss in more depth the major models of healing, the hara dimension of the energy field, and the level of intention. We will branch out and explore individual healing styles within the group, using case studies to refine our diagnosis and treatment decisions. We will take a close look at characterology and learn appropriate healing responses, while reading the aura with more accuracy.

2-Day Skills Workshop
These two-day seminars focus on your practice sessions with clients and is designed to give specific feedback to each individual. New techniques are taught to add to your practice. This is a time to come together and share case studies and insights gained through practice. Also, to receive new information about healing techniques. Individual feedback from the instructor will help to focus your healing practice. We will be visioning your unique model of healing for the world.

Projects and Case Studies
In the second year of the program, students choose a project to investigate for their healing work. There is also a case study, in which students will work for ten sessions with one client to deepen their skills in energy healing.

Advanced Supervision
Join your peers for a weekend of sharing, inspiration and learning some new tricks in the world of healing. Each person will have an opportunity to share their "cutting edge" and be guided lovingly with master teacher Caryn Boyd Diel to the new horizon of what is possible for their healership. Come be in community, learn what's new, what's happening and what's coming in the world of healing. This class is open to anyone with a healing practice.

What will be expected of you between classes?
There will be homework in the form of reading, meditations and practice sessions with clients between class meetings. You will be given the assignments in class so that you can plan your time between classes. Written assignments will be due no later than one week before the next class meeting, or may be turned in as they are completed for feedback.

As your studies progress you will be writing a short case study and doing a research project which applies to Energy Medicine and your specific interests as a healer.

You will be expected to keep up with your own personal-spiritual growth by receiving healing sessions or therapy sessions from practitioners of your choice. It is imperative that healers be aware of their own process and continue to clear as much as possible. It is required that you receive at least one session a month. Please turn in a written summary of these sessions and how they relate to your development as a healer. These are due when other homework is mailed.

Application Process
Please contact the school for an application to these programs
Complete course outlines, reading lists and other requirements will be sent upon acceptance into this program. There will be homework and research assignments for you to complete between class meetings. This course is approved for Continuing Education.

*If you have taken Energy Medicine I from Caryn Boyd Diel in the past two years it is recommended that you repeat the class, (at a discount) in order to begin tracking with the group that is to be certified.

530 Hour Asian Body Therapy Program
White Cloud Institute has crafted an Asian Body Therapy Program which is in line with both the NCCAOM and AOBTA guidelines which qualify therapists whose goal it is to take the national examination and be recognized as an Asian Body Therapy Practitioner.

Asian Body Therapy (ABT) is one of the three branches of Chinese Medicine in which the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) certifies people for entry level into the profession.

Asian Bodywork is based upon Chinese Medical principles for assessing and evaluating the body's energetic system. It uses traditional Asian techniques and treatment strategies to primarily affect and balance the energetic system for the purpose of treating the human body, emotions, mind, energy field and spirit for the promotion, maintenance and restoration of health. Over the centuries practitioners in China, Japan, Thailand, Korea and more recently, North America and Europe have changed and evolved these forms into separate and distinct modalities.

The American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia, (AOBTA®)accepts all forms of Asian Bodywork Therapy that meet their professional curriculum standards. Many of their members may simply identify themselves as practicing Shiatsu, Amma, or Medical Qigong, which are foundational forms of Asian Bodywork Therapy. Since these forms vary so much depending on the lineage, it is difficult finding one definition that is applicable to all. Practitioners create their own style definition of themselves and their hands, stretching, external application of medicinal plants or foods, heat or work as it accurately applies to them, derived from the recognized forms.
